Research

Our research work focuses on the cellular mechanisms of blood, incretion and metabolism taking place in control of homeostasis in animals, the pathophysiology of disorders caused by the structural or functional abnormalities in cells, and diagnosis and therapy in those disorders. Projects under investigation include.

  • Regulatory mechanisms of animal structure
  • Establishment of embryonic stem cell lines and clinical application
  • Strategy for bone marrow transplantation and gene therapy
  • Pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatments of malignancy.

Post docs and PhD students are welcome to carry out cutting edge research !! Informal inquiries can be made at any time of the year to Prof Inaba or Assoc Prof Sugiura
