TSUJIMOTO’S Thesis Has Been Accepted In The Journal of Reproduction and Development.

Tsujimoto’s thesis was accepted into the Journal of Reproduction and Development.
In recent years, in vitro fertilization in cats has been studied for use in endangered cats. In our laboratory, we have succeeded in obtaining blastocyst stage embryos by in vitro maturation (IVM) of cat oocytes and microinsemination (ICSI) using mature sperm. In this study, ICSI with immature sperm was successfully performed to produce embryos with the aim of improving in vitro fertilization methods in cats, and effective utilization of cat gene resources is expected.

Development of feline embryos produced by Piezo-actuated intracytoplasmic sperm injection of elongated spermatids.
